The fresh transparency and vibrant hues of watercolours are ideally suited to the landscape and climate of Provence. Albany covers every aspect of watercolour technique, from the simple to the more advanced, emphasising the importance of good drawing.
He teaches by using a combination of leading by example and individual tuition. Exploiting the special fluid qualities of the medium, he encourages a free approach. You will be inspired as he demonstrates solutions to a variety of painting problems, followed up by over-the-shoulder help and advice. Everyone is encouraged to record the week in their sketchbook, a particular enthusiasm of Albany’s.
